The Nevada Theatre is operated by the Nevada Theatre Commission.  The Commission is made up of volunteers dedicated to preserving and improving our Theatre.  The Nevada Theatre Commission is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

 

To preserve and develop the historic Nevada Theatre and its other historic properties in order to provide the community with an accessible, usable and valuable cultural asset.

The Nevada Theatre Commission is a group of volunteers who are dedicated in making sure the Nevada Theatre continues to be available and usable to our community for years to come.  The Nevada Theatre is owned and maintained by the the Commission which is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.  Many upgrades have been made over the years to maintain a wide rang of events we can accommodate, and this is organized by the Commission.  The Commission does not choose the productions or events that happen at the Nevada Theatre.

 

We are very proud to be one of the chosen locations in the last 5 years for groups such as Sierra Theaters, Community Asian Theatre of the Sierras (CATS), LeGacy Presents, Paul Emery Music, Sierra Stages, The UpStart Theatre Company, Music in the Mountains, Quest Theaterworks, and Synthetic Unlimited.
